Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years previous experience in a 4 diamond hotel or restaurant environment
  • must be TIPS certified
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to carry up to 30 pounds
  • previous Micros experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in a 4 diamond hotel or restaurant environment
  • TIPS certification
  • proficiency with Micros POS system preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry up to 30 pounds
  • commitment to exceptional guest service

Job Duties

  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
  • be ready to work and on time
  • comply with food handling standards
  • understand and execute Bob's service standards
  • be TIPS certified
  • perform all opening and closing side work including folding napkins, wiping and filling salt and pepper shakers, prepping butter and pickles, filling oil and vinegar bottles
  • stock sugar candies
  • wipe down check presenter and pre-stuff with comment cards
  • restock waiter station with rolls of paper for printer
  • place and light candles in votives and set them on tables
  • sweep and/or vacuum floors of debris including under tables
  • stock all tablecloths and napkins
  • attend mandatory pre-shift meetings
  • participate in training sessions
  • ensure prompt courteous service to guests
  • be friendly and helpful to guests, referring to them by name when possible
  • polish and stock silverware, flatware, and glasses
  • assist servers in bussing tables
  • assist in clearing and resetting tables when guests leave
  • empty trash and dirty linen behind bar and service stations
  • refill ice bins and fill wine buckets with ice
  • restock and supply refrigerators
  • bring tablecloths and napkins to be folded
  • help fold napkins during slow times
  • restock coffee station
  • assist in cleaning the restaurant
  • complete any other duties assigned by management
  • remain in designated work area during shift
