Job Duties

  • Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly after guest meals
  • wipe down tables, chairs, and condiment holders to remove crumbs and spills
  • reset tables with clean tablecloths, napkins, and tableware
  • refill water glasses, breadbaskets, and condiment containers as needed
  • assist servers by running food orders to tables
  • communicate with staff to coordinate table turnovers and ensure efficient service
  • maintain cleanliness of dining areas including floors and furniture
  • empty trash bins and bus carts regularly
  • adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards including proper handwashing
  • provide friendly and attentive service to guests
  • assist with seating and menu inquiries
  • communicate effectively with guests to address concerns
  • work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service
  • assist coworkers during peak times
  • communicate with management and colleagues regarding table service issues
