Job Requirements

  • Work experience as a busser, food runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to access online scheduling apps
  • Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, lift at least 25 pounds and move continuously during shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
  • Place tableware and condiments on tables
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed
  • Clean and reset tables after guests leave
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean and replacing damaged pages
  • Remove courses as completed and replenish utensils and beverages
  • Support wait staff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and bus stations
  • Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping or vacuuming floors, removing trash and recyclables
  • Participate in team member training opportunities
  • Accept ownership for accomplishing new requests and adding value to job accomplishments
