Job Duties

  • Clearing tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly and efficiently
  • Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and surrounding areas
  • Refilling paper towels and condiments according to restaurant standards
  • Ensuring each table is properly set for the next guest
  • Collecting and sorting used dishes, glassware, and silverware
  • Assisting the dishwasher to maintain a steady flow of cleaned dishes
  • Assisting customers with seating, providing menus, and answering basic questions
  • Monitoring and refilling water glasses and other beverages
  • Supporting food runners by delivering food items and supplies
  • Assisting with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Collaborating effectively with restaurant staff for seamless service
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting hazards or maintenance issues
