Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work weekends, nights and holidays
- prior restaurant and customer service experience helpful
- physical ability to perform strenuous tasks including frequent lifting of 50+ pounds
- ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- willingness to attend team meetings, trainings and events
- adherence to the citys code of conduct and core values
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior restaurant and customer service experience helpful
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work weekends, nights and holidays
- ability to multi-task
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to interact positively and cooperatively with all levels of personnel
Job Duties
- Greets customers and maintains cleanliness of restaurant
- provides continuous flow of supplies to bus station
- helps with clean-up and set up of private parties
- assists waitperson in serving water and coffee
- wipes silverware and ensures that all supplies are clean and ready for use
- assists waitpersons in getting the dining room ready for business
- takes soiled dishes to dishwashing area
- racks glassware in appropriate place
- maintains restaurant equipment, chairs, tables, floors, as needed
- sorts soiled linen and delivers to appropriate place
- travels to and attends team and organizational meetings, training, events and activities and appropriately and professionally represents the department
