Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- must possess a pleasant personality
- prior restaurant experience preferred fine dining or steakhouse
- excellent customer service skills required
- must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns
- excellent oral and communication skills
- neat and clean appearance required
- must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- must be able to walk and be on feet and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 hours in length
- requires some pushing and twisting
- requires some bending, kneeling, climbing, stooping and frequent reaching above and below shoulders
- must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues
- must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, varying noise/temperature levels and dust
- fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public interactions with high communication skills
- ability to carry beverage trays and carrying of plates without tray service

Job Duties
- Make sure all areas are clean and free of debris
- maintain a constant flow of dirty dishes, glassware and silverware to kitchen and provide all clean supplies to dining room
- maintain tables throughout service, clearing dishes between courses and empty glassware as necessary
- possess a pleasant personality
- maintain required levels of supplies in the dining room
- assist other employees in their duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or manager
- meticulously clean dining room tables and booths
- empty all garbage
- act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourage others to do the same
- respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and employees
- adhere to all department and company policies and procedures
- provide a warm farewell and thank guests for visiting
- promote Harrah's and always project Harrah's in a positive light to guests
- perform all related duties as assigned
