Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum two years of experience in customer service or similar public interaction role
  • Preferred experience in hospitality or concierge services
  • Proven office and computer skills including filing and telephone handling
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in computer software
  • Flexibility in schedule and work location
  • Ability to work well with diverse individuals including guests, volunteers, hospital personnel, staff, and donors
  • Must demonstrate kindness, caring, and compassion
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two years' experience in a customer service or similar position involving public interaction
  • Experience in a hospitality or concierge setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide clerical and office support for the center including reception duties
  • Manage telephone communications professionally and courteously
  • Handle medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality
  • Schedule surgical appointments and verify insurance details
  • Perform computer data entry tasks with precision
  • Create and manage referrals and retrieve medical and demographic information from internal and external systems
  • Collaborate and interact positively with diverse constituents such as guests, volunteers, hospital personnel, staff, and donors
