Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of medical office experience preferred
- ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail
- excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- ability to follow hospital financial and admitting policies
- strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff

Job Qualifications
- One-year medical office experience, preferred
- ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand

Job Duties
- Greet patients on admission
- verify patient information as necessary
- obtain required patient information, copies of insurance cards, and signatures
- collect patient co-payments, co-insurance or deductible payments
- notify appropriate staff of patient arrival and admission
- ensure patients are aware of any potential observers and initiate proper paperwork for patient approval
- ensure all vendors are properly checked-in before admitting into patient care areas
- keep family members informed of patient’s status during their stay in the Center
