- master's degree in business administration (MBA)
- valid National Restaurant Association ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate
- previous college teaching experience in business, entrepreneurship, and culinary management
- at least 10 years experience as a small business owner in the food service industry
- experience in curriculum development and assessment mapping at the college level
- practical work experience in business, leadership, management operations, food service, small business ownership, and human resources
Job Qualifications

- previous college teaching experience in face-to-face and online modalities in business, entrepreneurship, and culinary management
- experience as a small business owner in the food service industry for at least 10 years
- experience in curriculum development and assessment mapping at the college level
- practical work experience in business, leadership, management operations, food service, small business ownership, and human resources
- passion for teaching and mentoring
- skills in communication, organization, team building, and collaboration
- preferred: master’s degree in education (M.Ed.)
- Quality Matters online certification
- proficiency in Brightspace D2L LMS
- bilingual in Spanish and English or other languages
Job Duties
- respond to student questions and be available for student support
- use appropriate technology to enhance learning
- assess learning outcomes and adapt curriculum to meet learning objectives
- demonstrate insight and encouragement in working with diverse student populations
- provide appropriate academic advising to students to support timely degree completion
- be innovative in the presentation of lectures and hands-on learning activities
- provide timely feedback on students' assignments and exams
