Job Requirements

  • Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Manage and stay within assigned budget
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • May require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 40lbs
  • Physical ability to sit, type, walk, bend, reach, stand, and stoop
  • Compliance with company policies on equal employment opportunity and affirmative action

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or 3-5 years of industry-related sales experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and commercial planning capabilities
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence software such as Compass, Diver, Excel, and/or Proof
  • Ability to understand and align with supplier strategies
  • Clear understanding of financial acumen
  • Ability to analyze data to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them

Job Duties

  • Achieve revenue, margin, and gross profit targets as set by the Sales Director
  • Communicate local program spending effectiveness to maximize company profits and evaluate ROI on initiatives
  • Analyze and project quarterly and monthly business for assigned territory
  • Provide conflict resolution, remove performance obstacles, and address relationship concerns among key accounts
  • Identify market trends and developments in product categories and geographic regions
  • Lead strategic business growth through influential leadership
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align supplier strategies
