Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
- may be required to sit or stand for extended periods indoors or outdoors
- must be able to squat, stoop or bend
- must be able to operate a computer
- comfortable in environments with intermittent loud noise levels
- action-oriented personality with a get it done attitude and efficiency proficiency
Job Qualifications
- experience in youth or amateur sports as a consumer or marketing professional
- proven success in consumer marketing and branding
- experience using CRM to manage customer relationships
- strong background in sponsorship sales and activation
- previous work with convention and visitors bureaus or regional sports commissions
- demonstrated ability to promote and book special events
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- plan and implement large-scale events and tournaments
- manage event calendars and bookings
- maintain communication with stakeholders and partners
- develop and execute marketing and advertising strategies
- sell and activate sponsorships
- prepare and present reports on event outcomes and performance
- collaborate with facility staff and external event providers
