Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree GED required
- Three years prior work experience in front of house supervision and leadership
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions
- Basic computer skills Microsoft Word Excel Outlook
- Knowledge of state federal and provincial employment standards
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity
- Ability to carry a serving tray with four meals or beverages
- Ability to clean apartments and dining room as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work weekends evenings and flexible hours
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and health screenings
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations as required by law.
Job Qualifications

- Associate degree preferred
- Three years of prior work experience in front of house supervision and leadership
- Experience managing employees recruiting customer service labor scheduling budgeting and expense management
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to delegate assignments based on skills roles and interests
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate small group presentations
- Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and provide strong customer service
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook
- Knowledge of employment standards and practices

- Ability to perform or learn budget analysis and variance reporting

Job Duties
- Hire orient schedule train coach and counsel concierge team
- Provide timely feedback to team and consistent performance management
- Assist General Manager to provide high levels of customer service and create a restaurant style dining atmosphere
- Assist General Manager and Executive Chef to keep residents satisfied with food service dining programs and housekeeping services
- Partner with General Manager to provide quality and compliance leadership ensuring safety rules are followed
- Train team on company standards including cleanliness sanitation appearance service and satisfaction
- Solve issues before they become problems or complaints
- Assist the General Manager with all aspects of community operations
- Act as Manager on Duty when General Manager is not on site
- Ensure adequate coverage of front desk to maintain customer service satisfaction
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
- Maintain compliance with required training and state or regulatory requirements
- Coordinate team member recruitment efforts per company standards
- Champion human resource policies related to recruitment employment pre-employment screenings reference checks and job offers
- Partner with department coordinators on staffing needs forecasting networking and team member availability
- Ensure new hire paperwork is completed timely and records maintained
- Champion onboarding and orientation process maintaining personnel files per legal and company policies
- Ensure team members follow timekeeping policies recording hours accurately
- Process and submit accurate bi-weekly payroll
- Administer and update team member benefits and provide support for inquiries
- Complete payroll reconciliation per internal controls
- Champion training compliance and maintain performance appraisal and training records
- Collect and review information to support billing and accounting to meet deadlines and reporting
- Use financial data tools to reflect business performance accurately
- Follow monthly accounting calendar and scheduled tasks for financial data deadlines
- Maintain Resident Billing System
- Maintain separation of duties according to policies
- Ensure business controls are followed and complete documentation for each area
- Assist in audit materials preparation and ensure business process deadlines are met
- Execute business processes to ensure SOP compliance
- Maintain audit materials and information for review
- Complete and verify payroll and census reconciliation and uploads timely
- Participate in Sunrise University Training and self-study programs
- Develop knowledge of state regulations ensuring compliance through supervision and coaching
- Attend regular meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts
- Lead team member engagement and improvement planning
- Hold team accountable with necessary documentation
- Stay current with professional development through reading and training
- Manage workers compensation claims to promote positive relations and reduce costs
- Ensure community compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and risk management program
- Monitor adherence to safety rules and recommend actions.
