Job Requirements

  • enrolled in high school or certified G.E.D. program or have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • six months work experience preferred unless currently attending school
  • ability to learn basic job routines
  • effective communication skills
  • comply with health department regulations
  • physically able to stand, reach, bend, squat, stoop for up to six hours
  • safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds repeatedly
  • maintain regular attendance
  • use equipment including telephones, cash registers, knives, meat slicers, mixers, can openers, scales, dishwashing machines
  • no communicable diseases transmissible by food handling

Job Qualifications

  • able to maintain regular attendance

Job Duties

  • set up the restaurant and get it ready for lunch or dinner
  • clear tables and wipe down tables and chairs
  • sweep the floor during the shift
  • use dish washing machine to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining and kitchen areas
  • follow health and safety regulations related to food handling
  • assist team members as needed to support restaurant operations
