Job Requirements

  • Preferred enrollment in high school or a GED program or possession of a high school diploma or GED
  • Six months of work experience preferred unless currently attending school
  • Ability to learn and execute basic job routines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must comply with city Department of Health regulations
  • Ability to stand, reach, bend, squat, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
  • Regular attendance
  • No communicable diseases transmissible through food handling

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred enrollment in high school or a GED program or possession of a high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to learn basic job routines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to six hours
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
  • Compliance with relevant health regulations and dress code policies
  • Previous work experience preferred if not currently a student

Job Duties

  • Set up the restaurant for lunch or dinner service
  • Clear tables and wipe down tables and chairs throughout the shift
  • Sweep the floors to maintain cleanliness
  • Use dishwashing machines to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
  • Comply with health and safety regulations including Department of Health standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Assist with additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
