Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED required
- knowledge of mechanical operation of a school bus to include daily maintenance checks preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties
- ensure facilities, materials, equipment, environment, and transportation services are safe and appropriately maintained
- work with Center Service Manager and Transportation & Facilities Coordinator to conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- operate school bus adhering to all safety and legal requirements
- actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times
- maintain health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment
- facilitate health practices to keep children safe in various environments
- comply with Head Start Program Performance Standards and local regulations
