Riverside Eats + Drinks is a dynamic food and beverage service provider operating primarily at the Carlson Center and various notable events across Fairbanks, Alaska. Our team delivers exceptional service during concerts, comedy shows, Nanooks Hockey Games, Solid as a Rock Fighting Championships, Alaska ComiCon, Fairbanks Holiday Marketplace, and numerous other community events. Job Requirements

  • be at least 16 years old for most positions
  • bartenders must be 21 or older and taps certified
  • security personnel must be 18 or older
  • prep cooks and dishwashers must be 18 or older
  • catering and concession staff must be 16 or older
  • bus drivers must be 22 or older with a valid Class A or B CDL and passenger endorsement
  • ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests for certain roles
  • availability to work flexible hours during event days
  • reliable and team-oriented work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • minimum age of 16 for concessions and catering roles
  • 18 years or older for prep cooks, dishwashers, and security personnel
  • 21 years or older and taps certification for bartenders
  • valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement and current Medical Card for bus drivers
  • ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
  • compliance with all state and federal regulations relevant to each position

Job Duties

  • serve customers with food and beverages during events
  • manage bar services including bartending duties for certified staff
  • provide security and ensure safety of guests and employees
  • prepare food items in kitchen environments
  • clean and maintain kitchen and service areas
  • cater events with setup, service, and cleanup
  • drive guests safely between venues adhering to state and federal transportation regulations
