Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and push or pull heavy objects
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, stoop and climb stairs and ladders
- Graduation from high school or possession of equivalent diploma
- One year of experience in grounds or custodial maintenance
- Possession of valid Florida driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and visually
- Ability to follow safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma
- One year of experience in general grounds or facilities custodial work
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets for cleaning agents and chemicals
- Skill in the use of basic hand tools, power tools and heavy-duty pressure washers
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures for custodial maintenance
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of buses, vans and cars
- Drive buses through wash racks and clean exterior
- Sweep and mop bus floors
- Clean interiors including walls, seats and windows
- Spray for insects as required
- Operate automated cleaning equipment used in vehicles
- Check oil and water in buses and service vehicles and add fluids as needed
- Maintain records of buses parked and cleaned
- Perform daily maintenance, cleaning, trash removal and minor repairs to bus stops and facilities
- Complete time sheets and maintenance reports
- Assist in dissemination of promotional materials
- Inspect and monitor bus stops and GoPasco facilities for cleanliness and safety
- Maintain supply inventories and equipment maintenance requirements
