Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and or move up to 35 pounds and push or pull heavy objects
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, stoop, and climb stairs and ladders
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- One year of experience in grounds or custodial work
- Possession of a valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must understand and follow safety procedures
Job Qualifications

- One year of experience in general grounds or facilities custodial work
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication
- Ability to understand verbal instructions
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures and use of cleaning tools and equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of buses, vans, and cars including interiors and exteriors
- Drive buses through wash racks and clean exteriors, sweep and mop floors, clean walls, seats, and windows
- Spray for insects as needed
- Operate automated cleaning equipment used on vehicles
- Check and add fluids such as oil, water, coolant, and washer fluid to buses and service vehicles
- Maintain written records of cleaned and serviced vehicles
- Perform maintenance, cleaning, trash removal, and minor repairs at bus stop locations and facilities
- Complete time sheets and maintenance reports
- Assist in disseminating promotional materials
- Inspect and monitor bus stops and facilities for cleanliness and safety
- Report vehicle malfunctions and refuel as needed
- Maintain supply inventories and equipment requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
