Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • At least six months experience and or training with children ages 0-5 is preferred
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
  • Relate positively and clearly with children, parents, volunteers, and staff
  • Demonstrate basic computer literacy and skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • A valid AZ driver’s license free of restrictions or AZ State ID is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Preferably holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
  • Experience and/or training with children ages 0-5 is preferred
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to relate positively and clearly with children, parents, volunteers, and staff
  • Demonstrated basic computer literacy and skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
  • Valid AZ driver’s license or AZ State ID preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the bus driver and facilities custodian in maintaining safety on the school bus
  • Provide educational activities that complement classroom learning
  • Give clear and appropriate directives to children regarding conduct and safety
  • Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times
  • Maintain all health and safety regulations
  • Facilitate health practices to keep children safe in various environments
  • Promote school readiness by preparing children and families for success
