Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required
- At least six months experience and or training with children ages 0-5 is preferred
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Relate positively and clearly with children, parents, volunteers, and staff
- Demonstrate basic computer literacy and skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- A valid AZ driver’s license free of restrictions or AZ State ID is preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferably holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Experience and/or training with children ages 0-5 is preferred
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to relate positively and clearly with children, parents, volunteers, and staff
- Demonstrated basic computer literacy and skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
- Valid AZ driver’s license or AZ State ID preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the bus driver and facilities custodian in maintaining safety on the school bus
- Provide educational activities that complement classroom learning
- Give clear and appropriate directives to children regarding conduct and safety
- Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times
- Maintain all health and safety regulations
- Facilitate health practices to keep children safe in various environments
- Promote school readiness by preparing children and families for success
