Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment preferred
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions
  • physical ability to frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
  • capability to lift or push objects over 40 lbs
  • ability to bend, twist and stand for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Monitors the establishment front-of-the-house for cleanliness and newly vacant tables
  • cleans and sanitizes tables and seats according to division standards
  • transports bus pans to the dish room
  • breaks down the bus pan and sorts china and silverware
  • changes soaking solutions in the silverware holding pans
  • assists in preparing silverware for daily usage
  • patrols assigned station, refills water and coffee, removes service items and condiments per establishment procedures
  • properly cleans and fills table condiments
  • performs set-up and stocks the food and beverage area or other assigned areas as required
  • cleans, sweeps, and mops floors
