Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- willing to accomplish all restaurant tasks
- comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
- ability to resolve consumer issues with tact
- physical requirements approximately 67-100 percent of a scheduled shift including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, repetitive motion, visual acuity, talking, hearing
- ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of related restaurant, customer service, or service industry experience
- two or more years of supervisory or management experience for management roles
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- energetic and excellent communication skills
- bi-lingual skills are a plus
- Servsafe certificate is a plus
- ability to foster teamwork and provide coaching and feedback
- willingness to participate in training and development
Job Duties
- Greets guests with a smile
- receives orders
- processes payments
- responds appropriately to customer issues
- operates cash register or point of sale devices
- uses suggestive-selling techniques to generate sales
- verifies accuracy of orders
- prepares and packages food and drink products
- cleans kitchen area, counters, food prep areas, utensils
- cleans dining room, restrooms, and exterior grounds
- maintains health and safety standards
- unloads and stocks inventory
- performs duties at multiple workstations
- ensures prompt and regular attendance
- follows uniform and grooming standards
- resolves restaurant issues
- works with the team to achieve goals
- communicates positively with customers, peers, and managers
