Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- willing to accomplish all restaurant tasks
- comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
- ability to resolve consumer issues with tact
- physical requirements including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers, visual acuity, talking, hearing and ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of related restaurant, customer service, or service industry experience
- for management roles, two or more years of supervisory or management experience
- must be 16 or older to apply for crew positions
- must be 18 or older to apply for management positions
- bi-lingual skills are a plus
- Servsafe certificate is a plus
- energetic and have excellent communication skills
- ability to foster teamwork and provide daily coaching and feedback
- experience in training and development
Job Duties
- Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues
- operates cash register or point of sale devices and uses suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales
- verifies the accuracy of guests' orders
- prepares and packages food and drink products
- cleans kitchen areas, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils
- cleans dining room, restrooms, and exterior grounds
- maintains health and safety standards in work areas
- unloads and stocks inventory items
- performs duties at multiple workstations such as front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter
- promptly attends assigned shifts
- follows Burger King uniform and grooming standards and policies
- resolves issues that arise in the restaurant
- learns team effectiveness skills and works with others to achieve team goals
- responds to guests' needs in a professional and polite manner
- communicates positively with customers, peers, and managers
