Job Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
  • willing to accomplish all restaurant tasks
  • comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
  • ability to resolve consumer issues with tact
  • physical requirements including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers, visual acuity, talking, hearing and ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of related restaurant, customer service, or service industry experience
  • for management roles, two or more years of supervisory or management experience
  • must be 16 or older to apply for crew positions
  • must be 18 or older to apply for management positions
  • bi-lingual skills are a plus
  • Servsafe certificate is a plus
  • energetic and have excellent communication skills
  • ability to foster teamwork and provide daily coaching and feedback
  • experience in training and development

Job Duties

  • Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues
  • operates cash register or point of sale devices and uses suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales
  • verifies the accuracy of guests' orders
  • prepares and packages food and drink products
  • cleans kitchen areas, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils
  • cleans dining room, restrooms, and exterior grounds
  • maintains health and safety standards in work areas
  • unloads and stocks inventory items
  • performs duties at multiple workstations such as front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter
  • promptly attends assigned shifts
  • follows Burger King uniform and grooming standards and policies
  • resolves issues that arise in the restaurant
  • learns team effectiveness skills and works with others to achieve team goals
  • responds to guests' needs in a professional and polite manner
  • communicates positively with customers, peers, and managers
