Job Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
  • Must be eighteen (18) years or older to apply for management positions
  • Willing to accomplish all restaurant tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
  • Ability to resolve consumer issues with tact
  • Physical requirements including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, repetitive motion, visual acuity, talking, hearing, and ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds approximately 67-100 percent of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of related restaurant, customer service, and service industry experience
  • For management roles, two or more years of supervisory or management experience
  • Bi-lingual skills is a plus
  • Servsafe certificate is a plus
  • Energetic and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to foster teamwork and provide daily coaching and feedback
  • Training and development experience

Job Duties

  • Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues
  • Operates cash register or point of sale devices and uses suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities
  • Verifies the accuracy of guests' orders
  • Prepares and packages food and drink products
  • Cleans kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils
  • Cleans dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds
  • Maintains health and safety standards in work areas
  • Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed
  • Performs duties at multiple workstations such as front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter
  • Responds to guests' needs in a professional and polite manner
  • Communicates in a positive manner with customers, peers, and managers
  • Works to resolve issues that may arise in the restaurant
  • Learns team effectiveness skills and works to achieve team goals
  • Follows BURGER KING uniform and grooming standards and policies
  • Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
