Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
- ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- basic knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- willingness to work as part of a team
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization under fast-paced conditions
Job Duties
- Quickly clears dirty table settings and prepares table for resetting
- promptly resets all service ware as prescribed
- maintains stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments
- wipes down booths and chairs, moves tables and chairs, and cleans floors as necessary
- serves guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenishes as necessary
- assists server with food and beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction
- transports all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- performs general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
- folds napkins for all meal periods to maintain an adequate supply
- delivers food to restaurant patrons
- follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
- interacts with customers to assure customer satisfaction
- interacts with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
- performs all assigned side work including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
- cleans unexpected spills, handles special guest requests, greets and seats guests
- completes side work as assigned
- other duties may be assigned
