Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years culinary experience with leadership responsibilities
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement creative menus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in direction and oversight of all culinary operations
  • Manage preparation and production of all hotel meals ensuring quality and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, training, scheduling, and evaluations
  • Create and implement menu selections for special banquets and events
  • Implement policies and procedures related to culinary operations
  • Control costs and contribute to overall financial profitability
