Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to be trained to operate powered equipment such as floor scrubber, pallet jack, and forklift
- ability to work on an assembly line
- ability to follow safety guidelines
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- willingness to work full-time hours with possible overtime
- ability to travel between warehouses or buildings if required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write accurately
- experience operating pallet jacks
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- experience working on an assembly line
- knowledge and application of food safety and employee safety guidelines
- ability to keep pace with team to minimize stoppage on the line
- ability to count, measure, and apply basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication
Job Duties
- Verify product to ensure correct product usage by reading production demand sheets and bulk case descriptions
- ensure work area is free and clear of hazards and report safety concerns
- follow company Good Manufacturing Practices and adhere to all company policies
- maintain a clean workspace including cleaning during downtime
- document product information and LOT codes accurately
- complete pre-operational checklists accurately
- assist other Bulk Handlers when needed
- sanitize equipment and surrounding areas
- remove boxed product from production line
- palletize boxes for stability
- use hand and electric pallet jacks to move pallets
- complete paperwork accurately
- keep pace with team to minimize stoppage on the line
- assist with training of employees
