Job Requirements
- Read and write Spanish/English
- Comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags and memos
- Write simple correspondence
- Present information effectively to customers and employees
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Possess Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write Spanish or English
- Ability to comprehend product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence
- Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions
- Basic PC and Outlook skills (preferred)
- Retail management certificate (preferred)
- Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, courteous and helpful service to customers
- Assist in cleaning, filling and rotating cheese and deli displays
- Replenish product in assigned areas during the morning shift
- Maintain cleanliness of the bulk deli department throughout the shift
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers in Spanish and/or English
- Follow written and oral instructions related to product handling and display
- Lift, move and stock products up to 60 pounds as required
