Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in building services or similar role preferred
  • ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work weekends and overtime
  • physical capability to perform manual labor including snow removal
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures
  • good communication skills

  • effective communication skills to report facility issues

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down equipment for rehearsals, productions, meetings, and classes
  • open assigned offices and work areas and report any abnormal conditions to the Building Services Supervisor
  • perform general cleaning in non-studio areas including cleaning and refilling water coolers and carafes in executive offices and washing and cleaning walls
  • assist with packing, bagging, and moving items as needed
  • remove garbage and refuse from shops, offices, cafeteria, and other areas to designated disposal locations
  • operate passenger and freight elevators as assigned
  • provide labor for sidewalk deliveries and make departmental deliveries as required
  • clean and service restrooms, perform mopping and other cleaning tasks
  • move furniture as needed
  • perform manual snow removal with appropriate attire provided by the company
  • clean glass surfaces excluding windows
  • maintain cleanliness of the loading dock
