Job Duties
- Clean floors, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, shelves, dispensers, trash receptacles, beds, mattresses, stretchers, tables, chairs, desks, carpets, windows, mirrors, sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, doors, elevators and tracks, stairs, window tracks and ledges, vents and baseboards daily using a variety of chemicals
- Remove and dispose of all trash, waste and litter
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers and replace toilet paper
- Perform discharge cleaning as needed
- Perform special cleaning duties such as vacuuming, wall washing, spot cleaning, carpets and upholstery
- Remove and install various types of curtains and drapes
- Perform project work such as stripping and refinishing floors
- Remove infectious waste according to protocol
- Dispose of regular trash
- Move furniture and set up rooms for meetings
