Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance
  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • acceptable background check including local and state criminal history and sex offender registry check
  • cannot have founded child abuse or neglect complaint
  • physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • ability to operate hand and power tools safely
  • availability to adhere to work schedules and attendance policies

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in building repairs and maintenance
  • ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
  • basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
  • ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • effective communication skills
  • capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • experience in event-related facility maintenance preferred

Job Duties

  • perform a variety of building trade duties to maintain and repair the Pavilion
  • use various tools and equipment including circular saws, power drills, hammers, sanders, planes, and hand tools
  • set up and break down temporary seating for concerts and events
  • receive and prioritize assignments from work orders
  • plan sequence of work and prepare job sites
  • perform preventive maintenance and inspections
  • load, unload, and transport construction supplies and equipment
  • move furniture and clean offices, public restrooms, and artist dressing rooms
  • direct and assign tasks to temporary labor
  • maintain housekeeping and safety standards
