Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance
- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- acceptable background check including local and state criminal history and sex offender registry check
- cannot have founded child abuse or neglect complaint
- physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally
- ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- availability to adhere to work schedules and attendance policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in building repairs and maintenance
- ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
- ability to read and interpret blueprints
- effective communication skills
- capability to work independently with minimal supervision
- experience in event-related facility maintenance preferred
Job Duties
- perform a variety of building trade duties to maintain and repair the Pavilion
- use various tools and equipment including circular saws, power drills, hammers, sanders, planes, and hand tools
- set up and break down temporary seating for concerts and events
- receive and prioritize assignments from work orders
- plan sequence of work and prepare job sites
- perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- load, unload, and transport construction supplies and equipment
- move furniture and clean offices, public restrooms, and artist dressing rooms
- direct and assign tasks to temporary labor
- maintain housekeeping and safety standards
