Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must possess a Government ID and a social security card
- Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge
- Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation
- Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
- Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of electricity, carpentry, and plumbing, among other technical skills
- Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding
- Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to oneself and others on the ground
- Can evaluate computer-related work orders for accuracy
- Provide all basic hand tools
Job Duties
- Assist electrical, HVAC, and plumbing technicians
- Be able to perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- Monitor HVAC airflow and distribution in terminals
- Change HVAC filters
- Maintain, repair, and replace electrical motors
- Maintain, repair, and replace water and hydraulic pumps
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues that may arise
