Job Requirements
- Six months experience in custodial maintenance work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write, communicate and understand written and oral instructions in English
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in custodial maintenance work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write, communicate and understand written and oral instructions in English
- Experience operating carpet cleaning and floor care machines such as buffers, extractors, auto scrubbers, and burnishers preferred
- One to two years custodial or general maintenance work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Vacuum, spot clean, and/or extract carpets and furniture using commercial vacuum cleaners and extraction equipment
- Report malfunctions of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor
- Stock area with appropriate supplies
- Lock and unlock doors as directed
- Assist with work orders for repair/maintenance
- Assist custodial operations as needed
- Assist with maintenance of grounds and property
- Set up rooms for activities or classes by moving tables, moving chairs, and setting up projectors and screens to support daily activities and special events in residential areas
- Provide quality customer service
- Assure all safety precautions are followed in workplace
- Communicate effectively in a professional manner and is a team player
- Other duties may be assigned
