Job Requirements
- Six months of experience in custodial maintenance work
- Valid class C operator's driver’s license
- Provide current three year driving record
- Obtain Texas driver's license within 30 days of becoming resident if applicable
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and around chemicals and biohazards
- Adherence to uniform and personal protective equipment policies
- Submit resume and three work references including one supervisor reference
Job Qualifications
- High school graduation or GED preferred
- Six months or more experience in custodial maintenance work
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to custodial work
- Valid Class C driver's license required
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
Job Duties
- General cleaning according to established procedures using prescribed equipment
- Maintain work schedule as assigned and accept work assignments willingly
- Follow work rules including professional appearance and uniform policy
- Use personal protective equipment and adhere to safety guidelines
- Secure buildings and rooms by following correct unlocking, locking, and alarm procedures
- Provide on-duty cleaning and event support including setup of table linens and special event items
- Respond to emergencies such as cleaning after floods
- Perform overtime and substitute shifts as required
- Report repairs as needed and participate in other related duties assigned
