Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- At least one year of experience in general maintenance, custodial work, landscaping, or groundskeeping
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

- Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power equipment safely
- Ability to work independently and follow written and oral instructions
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical labor
Job Duties
- Perform custodial and general maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, remove weeds, and maintain landscaping across transit properties
- Conduct inspections of facilities and grounds to identify safety hazards, needed repairs, or areas requiring attention
- Perform minor repairs to buildings including painting, patching, door adjustments, and furniture assembly
- Clear snow and ice, or other hazards, from walkways and entry points
- Ensure bus stops, shelters, and terminals are clean, free of debris, and maintained properly
- Respond to maintenance requests or emergencies as needed during assigned shifts
