Job Requirements

  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent
  • Coursework in restaurant management preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in restaurant or retail management
  • Valid food handlers certification as required by law
  • Alcohol dispensing certification if required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Satisfactory criminal background check
  • Knowledge of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical computations

Job Duties

  • Supervises restaurant dining room operations during shifts
  • Models hospitality skills and engages regularly with guests
  • Ensures guest satisfaction and manages guest complaints
  • Conducts interviews and supports new team member orientations
  • Leads shift meetings and fosters team communication
  • Utilizes compliance systems and manager tools for proper shift execution
  • Maintains cleanliness and enforces adherence to safety and sanitation standards
  • Manages staff planning, scheduling, and development for hospitality team
  • Develops and implements action plans to address restaurant performance issues
  • Assists with local marketing programs and sales promotion execution
  • Manages audio-visual and vending programs for smaller teams
