Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year prior experience in restaurant or retail management
- Must possess valid food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications if applicable
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Satisfactory criminal history
- Knowledge of labor laws and health codes
- Good communication and people management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to read and write clearly and perform basic math
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Coursework in restaurant management preferred
- At least 1 year of professional experience in restaurant or retail management
- Proper food handlers and alcohol dispensing certifications if required by law
- Valid driver’s license
- General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and safety procedures
- Good people management, communication, and listening skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong self-motivation and detail orientation
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic to intermediate math computations
Job Duties
- Models hospitality skills and engages with guests regularly
- Ensures guest satisfaction and manages responsible alcohol service
- Handles guest complaints effectively turning unsatisfied guests into satisfied guests
- Conducts interviews and supports new team member orientations
- Ensures training programs are followed and leads shift meetings
- Handles coaching and counseling of team members
- Utilizes compliance systems and procedures for shift execution
- Conducts administrative functions such as entering invoices and end-of-day procedures
- Maintains high cleanliness standards and enforces cleaning schedules
- Ensures adherence to ServSafe standards
- Assists in the rollout of new company programs
- Manages shifts to achieve sales and profit goals including labor and food cost management
- Executes staff planning, creates schedules within budget guidelines
- Develops direct reports and provides coaching and performance feedback
- Analyzes restaurant performance data and implements action plans
- Assists with local restaurant marketing and maintains marketing materials
- Creates and implements sales contests and incentives
- Manages audio-visual equipment and vending programs in smaller teams
- Completes all other assigned duties or tasks as required
