- previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed
- assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling materials to promote a clean and safe work environment
- follow all health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with food service standards
- support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils in a timely manner to facilitate efficient food preparation and service
