Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- use guests' names whenever possible to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- work collectively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- support events and groups held at the hotel
- answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to exceed traditional role expectations
- collaborate with all team members to foster a positive workplace and welcoming guest environment
- meet or exceed predetermined booking goals for guest room revenue
- manage budgeted costs and revenues on a monthly basis
- promptly handle inquiry calls and monitor paperwork flow for group confirmations
- adapt to new market strategies and demands
- compile lists of prospective clients and make in-person sales calls regularly
- entertain potential clients on site
- utilize reports during sales visits
- monitor competitors’ pricing, service levels, and group activities
- evaluate business profitability using reports and management guidance
- prepare accurate sales contracts and group resumes
- follow up on room night pick up, rooming lists, and cut-off dates
- solicit repeat business and participate in RFP processes
- meet and greet clients upon arrival and visit daily while clients are in-house
- document group information including billing and VIP arrangements
- develop new business accounts and maintain third-party group booking sites
- coordinate monthly sales blitzes
- assist with digital marketing, social media, and website initiatives to promote the hotel
