Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- No experience required, on the job training provided
- May require a commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a specific class and endorsement
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to passenger assistance and vehicle maintenance
Job Qualifications
- One year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver preferred
- Ability to operate and handle specialized equipment for passengers with special needs
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge
- Ability to perform safety and compliance checks
- Capable of following evacuation plans and protocols
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Transport passengers to and from assigned locations
- Load and unload passengers and luggage
- Ensure safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for passengers with special needs
- Inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of shuttle
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries
- Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans
- Report any incidents or claims immediately
- Refuel shuttle and maintain fuel use logs
- Disinfect shuttle after each use
- Perform pre- and post-inspection activities to ensure safety and compliance with standards
