Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain a food handler permit or certification as per state or local regulations
- Ability to engage positively with customers and coworkers
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Adhere to company policies including the Employee Handbook and Mafia Manifesto
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, proficiency in other languages is valued
- Capability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 65 pounds, standing, walking, and occasional climbing
- Willingness to complete mandatory trainings, certifications, and knowledge assessments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills including proficiency in English
- Ability to perform basic mental math for cash handling
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to stand or be active for up to 10 hours per shift
- Completion of Dutch Bros training program and food handler certification as required
Job Duties
- Engage customers by greeting and thanking them with a smile
- Ask and educate customers about the menu, products, and specials
- Embody the company culture emphasizing relationships and positive interactions
- Be consistent in delivering speed, quality, and service according to customer orders
- Maintain a positive attitude and encourage optimism among coworkers and customers
- Be reliable by showing up on time and communicating availability
- Assist teammates and support as needed during busy or changing circumstances
