Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler permit or certification as required
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Willingness to stand, walk, and perform physical activities up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds occasionally
- Completion and passing of all required company trainings and certifications
- Adherence to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
- Good communication skills including proficiency in English
- Mental math abilities for cash transactions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or barista experience is an advantage but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- English proficiency for verbal and written communication
- Adaptability to changing situations and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Engage with customers by greeting and thanking them with a smile and providing a memorable experience
- Ask and educate customers about the menu, products, and current specials to assist with their choices
- Embody Dutch Bros culture by fostering meaningful relationships and delivering excellent customer service
- Maintain consistency in speed, quality, and service to ensure customers receive exactly what they ordered
- Display positivity and optimism to create a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere
- Be reliable by showing up on time, communicating availability, and following proper call out procedures
- Help out teammates as needed to support the smooth operation of the store
