Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by state or local regulations
- Complete, pass, and maintain necessary trainings and certifications
- Demonstrate punctuality and have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 65 lbs
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Exhibit verbal, written, and oral English proficiency
- Maintain a positive, people-first mindset
- Be adaptable to varying work conditions including different weather
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills including fluency in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform mental math for cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and complete all required trainings
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Engage with customers by greeting and thanking each customer with a smile
- Ask and educate customers about menu items, different products, and current specials
- Embody Dutch Bros culture by fostering relationships and positivity
- Deliver consistent service focusing on speed, quality, and accuracy
- Maintain a positive attitude to uplift co-workers and customers
- Show reliability by arriving on time and communicating availability
- Help out teammates and adapt to changing circumstances as needed
