Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain Food Handler Permit or Certification as required
- Complete and pass all required trainings and certifications
- Adhere to company policies and procedures outlined in employee handbook
- Have reliable transportation to arrive on time for shifts and meetings
- Be able to stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 10 hours per shift
- Be capable of lifting, pushing, or carrying up to 65 pounds
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, additional languages valued
- Ability to perform mental math for handling cash transactions
- Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by local regulations
- Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Positive and adaptable attitude in fast-paced settings
Job Duties
- Engage with customers by greeting and thanking them with a smile
- Ask and educate customers about menu options, products, and current specials
- Embody and promote the Dutch Bros culture in every interaction
- Maintain consistency in speed, quality, and service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a positive attitude and spread optimism among coworkers and customers
- Be reliable by showing up on time and communicating availability
- Help out teammates and support as needed during shifts
