Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler permit or certification
  • Capability to stand, walk, or be in movement during long shifts
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 65 pounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Capability to complete required trainings and pass knowledge assessments
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills including proficiency in English
  • Ability to perform basic math and cash handling
  • Comfortable standing and moving for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Food handler permit or certification as required by state or local regulations
  • Willingness to complete and maintain mandatory training and certifications

Job Duties

  • Engage customers with a warm greeting and friendly interaction
  • Ask customers about their preferences and educate them on menu items and specials
  • Embody the Dutch Bros culture by fostering positive relationships in the workplace
  • Maintain consistency in speed, quality, and service to meet customer expectations
  • Stay positive and encourage optimism among coworkers and customers
  • Be reliable by arriving on time and communicating availability
  • Help support the team during busy times and as needs arise
