Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Ability to obtain and maintain food handler permit or certification as required by local law
- Complete, pass, and maintain required trainings and certifications including safety and company policies
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving for shifts up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 65 lbs
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal English
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions including hot or cold environments
- Adherence to company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset
- Strong verbal communication skills in English, additional languages a plus
- Ability to perform mental math and handle cash transactions accurately
- Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods
- Certified or willing to obtain a food handler permit or certification
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
Job Duties
- Engage with customers by greeting and thanking them with a smile
- Ask customers about their needs and educate them on the menu, products, and specials
- Embody the company culture by fostering relationships and representing Dutch Bros Coffee values
- Ensure consistency in speed, quality, and service by accurately fulfilling customer orders
- Maintain a positive attitude and inspire optimism among coworkers and customers
- Arrive on time and reliably communicate availability needs
- Support team members by assisting where needed and adapting to changing circumstances
