Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by local regulations
- Pass and maintain all required trainings, certifications, and knowledge assessments
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts and meetings
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to stand, walk, and physically perform tasks for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Adherence to safety protocols including the use of ladders and physical movements such as stooping and kneeling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written
- Ability to perform mental math for cash handling
- Comfortable working in a physically active role including standing and lifting
- Demonstrated adaptability and positive teamwork
- Commitment to upholding company culture and values
Job Duties
- Engage with customers by greeting and thanking them with a smile and providing memorable experiences
- Ask customers about their needs and educate them on the menu offerings and current specials
- Embody Dutch Bros culture by building relationships and fostering a welcoming environment
- Ensure consistency in speed, quality, and service by accurately preparing and delivering orders
- Maintain a positive attitude and encourage optimism among team members and customers
- Arrive on time, communicate availability, and follow proper call-out procedures
- Assist teammates as needed to support smooth operations and excellent customer service
