Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience working on a broiler or grill in a high volume restaurant
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • Food handler’s certification or equivalent as required
  • Ability to follow detailed cooking instructions and recipes

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a high volume restaurant
  • Extensive knowledge of broiler and grill cooking techniques
  • Proficiency in cooking steaks to desired doneness levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook steaks and other proteins on the broiler or grill to exact temperatures requested by customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the broiler station at all times
  • Monitor and control cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to expedite orders efficiently
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Assist in inventory management of broiler-related supplies
  • Perform general kitchen duties to support smooth operation
