Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience in cooking or food preparation
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for entire shift
- Capability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and effectively

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Test foods for doneness and monitor food quality
- Set up and break down work stations
- Serve food in proper portions
- Wash and disinfect kitchen tools and areas
- Ensure proper temperature of appliances and food
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Develop positive working relationships with team
- Support team goals and respond to employee concerns
- Stand and move for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Complete other duties as requested by supervisors
