Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One plus year of line cook experience in upscale or fine dining
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Food handling and safety knowledge
  • Willingness to learn and follow company procedures

Job Qualifications

  • One plus year of upscale or fine dining line cook experience
  • Passion for great food and the culinary arts
  • Strong teamwork skills with a guest-first attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Operate broilers and other cooking equipment to prepare food items according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presented according to quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to meet service demands and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damages
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed
