Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year cooking experience in a restaurant setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work well under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a broiler chef or similar culinary role
- Knowledge of grilling and sautéing techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary certification or degree is a plus
- Understanding of food safety regulations
Job Duties
- Ability to broil, grille and/or sauté and to use a top broiler to prepare proteins to desired doneness
- Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
- Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests expectations
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices
